Accessibility

Accessibility just means making sure that as many people as possible can get the information we have in the best format for them. For example, our most important documents – the leaflets which come with the screening kit – are available to download and are also reproduced in full on this website.

Because we take our responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act seriously, our site conforms to all priority 1 and 2 checkpoints of the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 and the NHS Scotland / Disability Rights Commission guidance on accessible communication.

If you have any problems accessing any part of this site, please do not hesitate to contact our Web team by emailing nss.nsd-reports@nhs.net or calling (0131) 275 6575.
